haha don't know why i suddenly logged in here either. time has passed, things have changed, but i'm still as lonely as ever.. sometimes things aren't what it seems to be, there's so many hidden feelings.. My Birthday....
Mm.. lets see how i spent October 11th. :) Mm.. I woke up around 12pm, gave Liping a call le then called Eugene to plan for later. Haha.. from 12-2pm i nua around my house, listen mp3s and play game.. MSN got problem so can't online.. Met Liping 3pm @ Bugis, then we went to walk walk around to look for her clothes & play some Outrun 2 @ the arcade. Then we went to eat Sakae Sushi as Eugene say he n Karen cannot make it today as he still can't get away from work... yum yum~~ eat alot ah.. so much nice food, the salmon neck, chawamushi, prawn, crab sushi, chicken katsu etc etc... ate till we so full. Ok! Next we continue walking around bugis, then went to eat herbal jelly @ Liang Seah Street, Actually the shop is closed on monday, but the uncle kind enough not to disappoint us so let us have it also while he is putting up his paintings in the shop hehe.. Then we walked over to Suntec, in search of a good place to eat, stopped @ Mango, then went to Pan Pacific, but too bad, the lounge is closed for renovation.. sighz.. i miss the fish & chips i always eat when i go there. kekeke.. Walked to Marina Sq to check out the Ai Qing Hai cafe but kinda disappointing cuz the place didn't lived up to the way i thought it would be, so we went over to Esplanade! checked out almost all the restaurants there but no food to our liking, so headed further up to One Fullerton, checked out the restaurants there and finally settled for Bakerz Inn. Yummie!! I ordered a Crayfish Pasta & Orange juice while Liping had Crisp Mushroom/Cheese or something Pizza & Peppermint Tea.. Haha.. when the Tea was served, its so cute, the container which contained the hot tea has a device where u can depress the tea leaves up & down hehe.. Its reli sweet of Liping when she help me to seperate/pull out the meat from the shell and place the shell one side of the plate. Agnes joined us later but her friend left as i think he was shy la.. lolz. Hmm.. after eating, i went to the toilet to wash my face, then when i came back, Agnes disappear liao, Liping say she go toilet, then say.. we sit down wait for her @ the Merlion there. Ok.. I had a very very pleasant surprised when we reach there.. Agnes was waiting with my birthday cake!!!! Chocolate/Blackforest Ice Cream cake from Swensens. YumZzz!!! Wa.. So Sweetz of Liping & Agnes to buy my fav. ice cream cake.. Ahh~~Reli made it a almost near to perfect birthday man~ They sang the birthday song for me, took some fotos, after i made some wishes i blowed out the candles. :P "dun tell u wat wishes, if not bu ling le" kekeke!! I'll upload some of the pics later haha.. we messed each other faces with abit of the ice cream. Such a great place to celebrate my birthday ya.. the view is scenic and can enjoy the coolness of the sea breeze while enjoying the yummy cake! Wad a great surprised, actually shuld have expected it when they asked the waiter for more servettes and also "borrowed" a knife from them.. but didn't think too much of it then.. Xiexie Ni men!! I'm reli very touched at wad both of you have done for me. Thanks You~ Later on after we ate finish the cake le, sat down to chat awhile, then we all left for home.. I reli haven't been so happy for a very long time.. this birthday i will always remember it, reli one of my happiest times... Happy Birthday To Me...
Its 4.06am in the morning right now.. dawn to be exact on the 11th of October 2oo4. Yeah.. finally its here, my 20th birthday. Lets see, how i spent the whole day... I woke up around 1pm today and Mum & Dad suggested either i go have lunch with my Aunt & my cousin but since I woke up quite late, so we scrapped the idea as they've already gone out, so instead Mum & Dad brought me to Paramount hotel for lunch @ the Chinese restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Yumyum.. Ordered Sharks Fin, Deep-fried garoupa with gravy, Curry prawns with man tou & kai lan fried with scallops. The food was delicious and i enjoyed and finished every single piece of it lol. Xiexiez.. Later on i went to parkway to buy some stuffz then went home to rest and play games. Chatted on fone with Eugene, Liping awhile to discuss tonight's activities then after that around 5.55pm, i was feelin reli bored, so i walked over to the park nearby to see if i cuold meet any frens there and have a game of basketball, guess its all going right for me and yeah, I happened to meet my fren who was playing basketball there, he wished me happy birthday in advance then we shot a few hoops then he invited me to play a game of 4-on-4 half-court frenzy with them. I agreed and played for abt 20 minutes and we won 11-9 hehe.. i scored 5 points and created some of the points.. guess i haven lost my touch eh. Walked home, took a bath, watched a bit of TV then headed down to Orchard to meet Liping then we went down to Suntec to meet Agnes, Eugene & Karen. Haha.. Before meeting them went to shop abit, then went inside Carrefour, wahah.. came out with $14.75 worth of food & drinks. bought 115 grammes of biscuits with sugar on top & butterfly biscuit each, 4 prawn sushi, 4 cheese-sugar bread, 3 mango puddings, 2 bottles of aloe-vera juice & 1 bottle of mango juice. Actually wanted to buy durians also but in end changed my mind as we were quite lazy to eat it. Decided to eat it tomoro instead. Headed outside to the fountain benches to meet Agnes, Eugene & Karen then started eating !!!! Yumzz!! Eugene & Karen left early therefore left with 3 of us.. sit there talk talk and chillz. Time passed fast and soon it was 11.30pm, we went inside suntec to use the toilet and also play a kiddie Porsche ride.. haha nowadays so realistic man.. kiddie ride also have lcd screen.. kaoz.. $2 for 3 rides haha.. Oh yeah.. after that guess wad we werei doing when the clock struck 12am? The doors to the exit were locked!!! We walked around in search of unlocked exits but no use, can't find till finally we managed to get out of the huge Suntec City after the security finally led us to the exit. lol. imagine getting trapped inside.. wad a way it would have been to spent my birthday. But lucky.. met the kind-hearted guard and he showed us the way out. My fone showed 12am as soon as we walked out and.. yeah its finally my birthday... :) Suddenly.. Liping & Agnes pounced on me, one left one right sia. surprised me and they both wish me Happy Birthday. Oh well, not so bad la... no birthday kisses ley, but got 2 cute girlz celebrating my birthday with me. We then sat down at the benches again as i was kinda expecting a influx of SMS greetingz.. true to my thoughts, as soon as we sat down, Evonne messaged le.. 12.o2am ! First one is she, a long and thoughtfully sweet message too. Thanks lingieee, u're the best!! lol. I love ya, as my very good friend hehe. Treasure our friendship alot, may we be frenz forever! hehe.. after that.. more greetings came in, from Her, my pri sch fren... some outside frenz.. Oh yeah Jieling, u also got heart ah!! call me wish me.. lazy to sms rite hahaha.... nonetheless i also appreciate it ya!! Those i didnt mention names.. not becoz i forget you but..cuz too many le.. anyway still wanna thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday.. take care ya. :P Mm.. after slack awhile there le, we walked over to Marina Sq 7-11 buy some drinks then headed to our final destination for the night, Esplanade!! Oh yeah, i had the big merlion for company on my birthday oso. Kekeke.. dono isit becoz my birthday, then the merlion also sprouting water out, coz the last time we went.. it wasn't. That's a reli good place to chill out man, enjoying the cool sea breeze & beautiful night scenery, its a lovely place to be, quiet, peaceful yet scenic. We spent most of the time there eating, drinking & chatting, made ourselves real comfortable when i lined the floor with pamplets and liping & I sat down to talk, oh ya, i lined enough pamplets to even lie down to gaze @ the night sky. Agnes ah.. keep on the fone.. lol i know u starhub la.. don't make starhub go broke leh!! lol whole night at least got 2hrs on the fone leyz total up. lol. Mm... we left Esplanade at 2.41am and went home... I reached home around 3am and passed a road block @ MountBatten Road there.. sehz.. saw a lancer & a ford laser getting stopped. poor guys.. Though this year i thought my birthday would be quite a sian & not so happy event, i was proven wrong.. In fact im quite happy... Wad more can i ask for when i've got my close friends around me on my birthday and them celebrating it for me... Even though Eugene & Karen leave early but Eugene say later in the day, wanna give us a treat either lunch or dinner to celebrate for me. LOL! I haven cut any cake yet.. but i think later will get to cut ba.. lol past few years, i cut an average of 3-4 cakes LOL! one from family, 2 from different friends and one from gf. :P tis year no gf la.. so.. maybe less ba! hahaz.. all right.. its getting late le.. gotta go sleep soon if not tomoro can't continue my celebrations.. Pre-Birthday Blues...
1 more day to my 20th birthday... or rather.. 5 hours and 18 minutes more.. Last nite, we went partyworld KTV @ Orchard to have a pre-celebration where i treated Liping, Catherine, Eugene, Karen to a ktv session. Andy & Kyra joined us later. Actually i don't know where to go, but Eugene suggested KTV and i readily agreed as it was a good idea where we can chillz out and yet have some fun singing. Some of the songs did bring back some memories to me, but thats about it.. memories.. they're sweet but do make you a little sad.. shook that off after awhile and we continued singing till around 11.45pm then left for home. At the KTV, Sammi Cheng's song, "Ceng Shi Ni Bao Bei/Fang Bu Di" played up before we left and Kyra & Karen both sang it, Liping and Catherine also sing, but without the mic haha... Somehow, its jus different and weird to hear different voices singing that song.. guess im just not used to it. Chased after bus 65 for Catherine to board then we walked past Orchard MRT and Eugene & Karen took the last train back. Walked Liping to her bus and after she left also, i went back alone to Wisma to sit outside IndoChine Restaurant to listen to the live band. Don't know why, but i think i have been partly influenced and now i like to listen live bands too le... Watched some 'tiong' chias round Orchard, also reminds me of the times i used to play there before the cops came down hard on the 'tiong' chias after 8th of August. Slacked at Orchard, had some food le then i took NR7 home. Haha.. long time nv take NightRider le, become quite stupid.. cuz 2 years ago, used to take NR8 now the system all changed le.. haha the bus is packed man.. lucky i found a seat and listened to the mp3s from my 7610 on the journey home. Actually sometimes is quite nice to take a bus ride home as u can actually sleep or relax on the way, but most of the time i spent it thinking & thinking.. so many things bothering me, it jus feels that this year's birthday isn't gonna be as happy as i want to be. Finally reached home @ 2.30am and went to bath, chat awhile with my frens, play games then went to sleep. haha.. i got hooked on this song by Black Eyed Peas :p its nice, its cool and its fun to groove along with it. caught a movie last nite with liping & ronnie @ PS. We watched a lame show called The Stepford Wives. It has no storyline lorz and its reli silly, actually we wanted to watch 13 going on 30, but it only left front 2 rows seat and i HATE straining my neck. damn should have booked earlier. Ok never mind, so the show was silly n stupid but it brought some laughs, and also what if all the females were actually turned to robots controlled by males? haha would be fun though.. but so FAKE! then we went for supper @ chinatown joined by ronnie's friends. Wanted to add egg to the porridge but auntie say sold out liao lorz.. haha.. kaoz.. stupid chicken flu. Hey while eating halfway, a orange CRX so act like act like, see so many cars parked by the side of the road, he turned in, spin his wheel and tua his cmi engine. come on la, tua like that liao still there only, wheelspin first gear NIA ah. go back slp la.. proud bastard. Then we went to sultan to tour around check out liquid room then meet joel at selegie for kopi. Next, we headed down to Zouk to meet agnes, calvin, luke and his frens, ai shay.. his evo 8 inside ALL CAIS. some half drunk some crazy liao, haha so were his 2 frens car. filled with gals. wow! u all go cheong or go fetch cais? haha! on my way home after sendin liping home, suddenly gt kick to lau sai, so faster speed to anson road shell and shit. haha. heng ar. they sell tissue paper there if not die liao lohx.. after tat cruised home at a slow pace of 80kmh and dropped on my bed to sleep! boring day huh. wilson at 4:09:00 PM | (0) comments
Life's Lessons...
Tuesday nights are mostly spent at Siglap Gelare without fail unless i have other appointments, so as usual i was there again last night, went there with liping then shuhui called and said she was moody and so i invited to join us there. I guess everyone has their own share of problems, except that some hide it behind a smile on their face, and some express it openly. I belong to the kind rather keep everything to myself and just smile. Ordered my usual Chocolate and Vanilla Bean ice-cream flavours with my waffle with extra honey. :P Yumyum. Luke called later around 11 plus to say he's on the way, then i told him, Gelare's closing liao, last order in 5minutes. Haha, poor luke and his frens came but ended up with nothing to eat so they headed down to Bedok 85 market while i dropped Shuhui home first before joining them there. Joel, James and his gf then joined us from Changi for a drink. I've noticed each time i go 85, the only drink i'll order is Sugarcane Juice, think for the countless times i've been there, i've never ordered any other type of drink haha. After that we went down to geylang for dao huey and sat down to talk about life and other topics with my fren & liping there, while Luke left for home as he had to work at 8am in the morning. Had a great chat and definitely learnt lotza new things today. Time passed fast when u're enjoying yourselves and soon its 3.40am already. We had sat down for more then 2hours. :) Made a move to Shell @ Geylang for a quick car wash then sent liping home and i also went home to sleep le. Memories ...
15th of August, Sunday slept till ard 2pm before i finally woke up.. feeling refreshed but still quite nua.. had my lunch and started to make a background image for my hp.. decided on the sora character, touched up abit and added my own chinese wordings and decorations, used a light blue color scheme and it looks totally cool when uploaded and set to my 7610 as wallpaper. took a short nap after that before discovering there would be one last fireworks show today to mark the end of the Singapore Fireworks Festival. today's event would be by the singapore team. as i missed the first two by hongkong and usa team, i didn't wanna miss the last event so i was very much determined to catch it. Liping msged me on msn, so chatted with her awhile and since she ask me if i wanted to go eat dinner, i asked her along to view the fireworks. met her at marina but i was a little late as it was super jam at marina sq/suntec city that road. finally parked my car and walked over to oriental to meet her at 7.35pm and we bought some ice cream and stand there with many other pple to wait for the blasting of the fireworks. the crowd gathering there was huge and when the fireworks show started, everyone was cheering.. its so beautiful, i remembered that my fone can record video after liping reminded, so i took it out and recorded about 5minutes plus of the fireworks down.. quite clear lorz.. very nice.. headed to kallang airport hawker centre eat herbal chicken with rice then went to kallang kfc to meet the rest of the grp. waited till almost 10.45 before everyone reached and we went to mustafa to have fun with shien,joel,sammy,andrea,liping,ronnie after david n tammy went home to rest. omg.. its havoc there lorz.. the last time we went, shien n sammy did all the silly n funny things and i almost laugh my teeth out. this time was not worse either.. i haven laughed so hard for a long time since the last mustafa trip.. this time i took many fotos and videos of all the silly acts, playing with toys, perfume, dolls? guns? baby stuff? soft toys and...SHIEN SMASHED A WATERMELON INTO 2 USING HIS HEAD! hahaha thats the funniest and silliest and i laughed so hard till my stomach cramp ar.. shien,andrea,melon, ronnie bought many thngs but i came in and out empty handed as i 4got to bring my wallet in.. haha lucky also =P after mustafa... we headed to lavender pig's organ soup to have supper.... 6.10am liaoz.. sun rising soon.... wilson sleeping soon coz he hates the sun... ok sign off here now.. take care. & 14th of August, Saturday went down orchard walk walk and have dinner in the evening with david & tammy then went kinokuniya to read magazines n comics, sammy, andrea, shien met us there then we went down to selegie kopitiam to wait n meet the rest of the grp @ 10.30pm... 'parked my car @ cairnhill carpark, walked past heeren, went over to takashimaya, bought noodle omelette, 5 sticks of chicken, ta bao up and sat on the taka ledges outside to eat, after eating finish, went to kinokuniya to read books, head down to selegie kopitiam' haiz.. everything exactly the same lorz.. is jus like a cycle, but except this time i'm alone. reality bites, reality hurts. Everyone was late, and we ended up waiting till around 12 before heading down to west coast mac then "track" as david couldn't find the place he wanted to bring us go.. so alternative = "track"... played abt 4-5 rounds today and was quite happy with my performance.. after that we went down east coast, parked our cars and strolled to bedok jetty to enjoy the sea breeze and relax.. then went to geylang to wash car and then orchard cineleisure to chitchat, and see pple racing, but alas, OG is so quiet now.. reason being task force has stepped us their measures against illegal racing.. we saw 2 tp volvos @ orchard, and they bieo us when we passed them but we already were prepared, crusing at only 50kmh so they can only jus see. hehe.. we're law abiding ok !! went home after that.. but its already 6am when i reached.. lol.. so tired, so dropped to my bed to slp. 13th of August, Friday woke up, did my stuffz, then went with Mum & Dad to hello! singtel shop @ parkway to buy my new 7610. Mum asked me to switch from starhub to singtel, but i told her i'll consider only with they have nice numbers... looked at the number list, and all of them cmi so put off the idea for awhile. Reached home at 6pm and then went to charge my new fone for 5hrs... in the meantime, i went to watch tv, have dinner and go on the net. finally its 11pm, and my new fone is fully charged, so i changed and went out to meet the group @ bugis junction taxi stand where we all headed to the "track" to play...feeling tired n no mood to play i jus parked my car and walked around and watch them play... "how does it feel to get 'aeroplaned' time and again?" its jus terrible.. especially from one u like sighz.. i'm jus hanging there without a clue, without a reason.. An eventful week...
8th of August, Sunday The eve of Singapore's birthday and also the yearly unofficial "All hell breaks loose" Racing day @ Orchard Gudang. Every year, on this particular date, all the modded cars come out to play at our local track, including those heavily modded ones which is seldom seen on the road. This year was no different, all the cars gathered at their respective locations islandwide then head down to orchard to race and have fun. This is a special day for me, Did a final check to make sure everything is ok and then headed over to Eunos to pickup my good friend then head down towards town to meetup with the rest of the group, had a drink, discussed our plans, and finally its the moment of awakening. All 15 of our cars played about 1 1/2 rounds orchard then finally went to hide after receiving news task force coming down and spotting so many tp on their 750cc, petrol cars and even the volvo around marina area. We parked our cars and walked to Parkmall to catch the rest of the action, a group of civics, rexes, and evo passed us and soon, 4 task force bikes were chasing them, then another grp of rexes and civics, integra, passed and also promptly chased after by 2 more task force on bikes, they were all stopped opposite cineleisure and the evo driver was arrested, the fate of the wrx and integras were unknown but i only saw them being stopped by the TPs. don't hink they were arrested as only the blue evo disobeyed orders to stop and resisted arrest and even knocked down a tp. Hey he is famous now, story appeared even on newspaper.. then 2 more tp arrived and set up camp at parkmall... we sat desmond's car and toured around orchard to see all the happenings so we didn't miss any of the action. sighz.. wat a nite, being spoiled by the men in blue & white. after seeing enough and not wanting to be part of this kind of action, we faster left orchard and headed to east coast mac to have supper, then later headed to a secret track :P 9th of August, Monday woke up around 3pm in the afternoon, feeling so tired and my eyes even had trouble opening, damn. woke up too late and so my parents, uncles, aunties and cousins had already gone to Pan Pacific for buffet lunch and checked into the rooms, missed the buffet spread and so i promptly changed, went to have a quick lunch outside then joined them at Pan Pacific where i had Fish & Chips and Orange Juice for dinner. Went up to the room later to watch NDP'04 on TV then watch the fireworks life from the balcony of the hotel room. Its such a sight to behold and its reli very beautiful.. but alas the beautiful things in life doesn't last and soon it ended. i tried to take fotos of it, but the pics were all blurified. sighz.. guess my camera is just not good enough.. From the 30F of my hotel room's balcony, i look far n wide, the night scene of my country is so pretty, the waterfront view, CBD and all the skyscrapers, the lights from the skyscrapers and the bustling of the town around it.. looks so alive. Finally i took out my digicam and took a few shots of the night scenery... the pictures are all on the right, including a pic of my half-eaten dinner :p (a very unique style of cooking fish n chips.) Left Pan Pacific alone then went to pump 16% discount mobil @ newton then meet the group at selegie kopitiam for drinks before everyone headed for home. 10th of August, Tuesday didn't reli do much today, spent most of the time at home sleeping and daydream, and staring into space blankly... then went for dinner and then KTV with evonne,desmond. liping joined us for awhile before leaving to meet cannes for a movie @ cineleisure. We all sang till 1AM @ Holiday Home, Shenton Way and all 3 of us enjoyed ourselves and reli de-stressed.. some of the songs we sang, brings back lotza memories. Went home straight after the session to have good night's rest and clear my mind of troubles. 11th of August, Wednesday slacked at home for most of the day before meeting my ex-gf of 3 yrs, Catherine @ Sim Lim Square. Last saturday, she had asked me to check out prices with her, and finally on wed. we went to go buy the stuffz. Liping met us later for dinner @ bugis duck rice then we headed to marina promenade to walk walk & play the carnival rides. Haha.. remember the times when me n catherine were together, we often go river hong bao, euro carnivals, sentosa fantasy island & downtown east to play such rides. played Music Dance, and oh yeah, its scary.. maybe its been too long since i last played the ride and it is more scary then travelling @ 200kmh on my TypeR. Went to Kallang KFC after that for supper before dropping off Liping @ zouk and sending Catherine home. Sighz.. feelins of loneliness creeps in again. Upon reaching home, Kelvin called n jio me la kopi as he is around my house area so i went to meet him at bedok res. (eunos side la) kopitiam, later at around 3, Karen called and said she n Angela were at devils and tat Angela was drunk, she asked me where i was, i said bedok, then she jus say its okie, they will take a cab.. i tink they wanted me to pick them and i did think of going to go fetch Angela but i think best not to.. cuz its pointless. i reminded her to msg me when she reach home.. i sent Kelvin home to then dropped by Angela's house as it was jus nearby , i saw the light in her house still on, so i guess she's probably reached home safely.. i still remember the times when she always looked down from the window to wave to me or jus see me driving away after sending her home.. but its Over! 12th of August, Thursday slept till about 12, searched out my Nokia 7250i warranty card and GOD DAMN IT! the date of the warranty expiring was 14th August. Ok! no time to lose, changed, and went down to Nokia service centre @ Parkway to service my fone and change away the faulty parts.. Thought i could collect the fone today, but instead was told it takes 2 days. is Nokia service getting from bad to worse? used to only take 2 hours, then 4 hours, then half a day, then a day, now 2 days?!?! Seriously having second thoughts on getting my new 7610. but alas, the 7610 is truly a masterpiece, a work of art so i'm getting that fone on friday after all. Met Ronnie @ Orchard and he was nice enough to let me have his parking lot as his lot was much bigger and easier for me to go in as my car was kinda longer n wider. reli appreciated it.. thanks pal. walked around the hello! singtel shops in orchard to compare the price & packages and found out each had their own price n free gifts. went to have Teriyaki Chicken @ the Food Court at PS. and yummy its dee-licious~ worth every single cent of $4.90. Happen to walk past my Liping's shop and so tah-bao dumpling soup down for her upon her request. Ronnie was searching for M1 shop but can't find it, so went to Starhub shop to check whether he got "lugi" when buying his 7610.. lucky no. haha.. :p Met Cannes & Liping for kopi @ Selegie Kopitiam and also we all had beancurd, talk cock abit then they went clubbing at MW and i left for home as i don't reli like clubbing. Right now as i'm writing this blog for the past week, its 13th of August 2004, 3.39AM. 1 year ago, on this date, i finally passed my driving license on my 4th attempt with a afternoon test time @ 4.30pm. So fast, its 1 year liao, time past so fast, a blink of an eye, a year has passed again.. i'm gonna be 20 this year on October 11 and i'll be going in NS soon. I wish all my wishes can be fulfilled and i'm gonna try my best. tis is the another special day to me in my life as it's the day i can finally throw away my P Plate. today @ Kelvin's pub i heard someone singing "Liu Ruo Ying - Da Le Yi Ba Yao Shi Gei Ni" .. its actually the waitress singing it.. meaningful haha. wilson at 3:39:00 AM | (0) comments
